OUR WEEKLY AND MONTHLY
Classes and Gatherings
-
Every Wednesday we open the doors to our community from 8-10am for coffee, tea and conversation. Everyone is welcome. Come solo or bring a pal or two. This is a donation based gathering, however you are more than welcome to bring whatever you'd like to share with the community: a loaf of bread, some jam, a story, a joke, a poem. We wanted to create the space for connection to happen in whatever form it's meant to.
Please do register even though it's donation based so that we know who's coming.
Thanks and we're excited to hang soon!
Every Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
-
Carnatic Temple is an early morning offering of sacred, traditional music from Southern Indian in the Light Room. Each session is an encounter with a raga—a divine, musical personality with its own spirit, texture, and arc, sung acoustically and accompanied by the drone of the tambura. This is not a performance but a ritual practice of connecting to the heart of the Beloved.
Carnatic Temple is a technology-free space to sit, pray, meditate, and receive. You are welcome to bring an offering for the altar if you wish, and take it with you when you leave.Every Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
-
We each have an inner creator that is waiting for the space to express the inner visions that want to be seen and metabolized.
So many of us have not had the safe and uninhibited space to entertain these visions, to disarm the inner critic and to give oneself permission to playfully explore these tender creative sparks.
Creativity is our birthright. We come into the world as master creators and sadly, this profound ability to be the conscious creators of our lives and our experience is conditioned out of us.
Open Studio is for those who are pulled towards creative practice and want to carve out the space to rekindle your creative spark.
Fridays from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
-
The Taoist practice of Qi Gong strengthens our relationship with nature and supports our daily experience. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of being one with nature's way, our weekly practice follows the laws of water and fire, earth, wood, and metal—based on the universal truth that we and the environment are one.
Through Qi Gong and inner mantra, this class cleanses, replenishes, and regulates our Qi: the basis of our health and vitality.
Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. -
This grief circle meets monthly to honor the universal experience of a broken heart in all its permutations. We invite you to bring whatever grief you have been tasked to carry and join us in the alchemy that occurs when we allow ourselves to be seen and expressed in our grief. Our time together will be devoted to sharing our hearts as well as learning the art of transmutation through creative practice. Grief is meant to move through us rather than calcifying our hearts - creative practice allows for this vital movement to occur.
All are very warmly welcome to this sacred circle of supportive sharing, listening + creating. You do not walk this path alone.Monthly from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
