a Quiet Place

Inner Reflection Device

A Quiet Place began as a pop-up inside the Deep Waters building, and it has grown to be a permanent participant in the Deep Waters’ family. It was created to reserve a portion of your day for reflection, inspiration, contemplation, and the improvement of everyday life. Calling it a co-working space would be to dilute its power. Calling it a tea shop would be to limit its identity. It is similar to many things, but incomparable as well.

We currently operate three days a week – Wednesday to Friday, 10am-4pm. Morning or afternoon sessions can be booked, and you’ll have three hours to lock yourself away and just be.

The Idea

This space offers an invitation to pause and reconnect to your own inner quiet place. A special location for sitting and listening – in pursuit of your next idea, hidden inspiration, an unrealized direction, and maybe a new connection.

The Location and Surroundings

Contrary to how one may feel here, this place is not always quiet. We are located on a busy street with a persistent Max line, across from a train yard, and below an overpass. The building shakes and breathes with its surroundings and inhabitants. The land beneath us has been witness to much human sorrow, and yet continues to hold us as we seek growth and more alignment with her.

Inside there will be music playing, occasional shuffling, book pages turning, and soft conversations to augment the tone of the building.

We are a reservation-based space and are not able to accommodate walk-ins. Please contact us for more information, clarification of house rules, and whatnot. If you’re ready to book - access reservations here.
